Our wash machine leaked from upstairs down into the kitchen through dining area light. It was literally raining in the house. RestorePro came out within an hour of calling. Restore Pro was referred to me by my insurance company. I had a small area of my hardwood floors that had water damage. They removed the floors from my closets that were near the damaged area but were in good condition and they also too my base molding and side door molding (which was also fine) with them. I could have used the moldings and flooring to fix the small amount of damage done to my home. Now I need to replace my entire floor!!! Huge project. If they left the floors in the closet, I could have patched up the small space that was damaged. I am upset they didn’t ask if I would like to keep what they were removing. Comnunication was very poor too.

Restore Pro made the process of remediation and repair from a broken pipe in my rental property as stress free as possible. If I'd tried to schedule the multiple contractors required to get all of the work done, it would have taken much more time to complete. They also made it easy and relatively affordable to add some additional upgrades that we requested. After the work was completed for about 3 weeks, by tenant noted a few things that were unfinished. Restore Pro was very quick to respond, and agreed to have a contractor at the property within a few days to fix all of the complaints. Everyone I worked with (Remediation project manager, Program Director, and Repair Project Manager) was very nice and helpful. They were all very quick to respond to inquiries, and checked in with me throughout the process. They handled the insurance claim, and found some thing that the insurance adjustor had overlooked when assessing the damages. If I were to have tried to do this on my own, I would not have realized that those things were overlooked.

It took RestorePro over 3 months to complete restoration for a leak in my Raleigh condo. My tenants asked to be released from their lease because of it and had a lawyer standing by if I didn't agree. I did agree because they were forced to live in one bedroom with their newborn child. The husband lost income from work having to be home to facilitate the workers. I am out of the country and was unable to return in order to re-rent the condo and so I was forced to sell. I am on SS and the rental income was half my monthly income. Losing that income was not in my plans. RestorePro did issue me a small settlement which included return of my $500 deductible plus the surplus in income from each month after mortgage and HOA dues. They did this because they knew if I brought suit they would liable for much, much more. Do not use them. They don't have the slightest understanding of what good service means. They single handedly obliterated my livelihood. Buyer Beware!!!

Excellent communication and workmanship. We had a pipe freeze causing our washing machine drain to overflow creating water damage since it was on the second floor. RestorePro came in and was able to dry things up and we reconstructed the washer with better waterproofing to better contain a spill like this in the future. They put everything back better than new. Their deconstruction crew, paint/drywall and plumber were very professional and kept us advised as the project progressed. Special thanks to Jeff and Greg who managed the overall project. They maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process which was challenging due to the many cases of pipe freezing that they were balancing due to an unprecedented 200+ consecutive hours of sub freezing temperatures. This was truly one of the worst case scenarios to operate under and they came through with flying colors. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again on any future mishaps like this which hopefully won't happen anytime soon! ;-) -Pete

RestorePro did an excellent job for us. We had a break-in that damaged the back door to our home. It is a double door, one swings and the other is stationary. They came out to access the damage the day they were called. They worked with us to get the door and door hardware we wanted. They ordered the door and the next day after it was delivered they came out to install it. The two workers removed the trim around the doors, removed the old doors, installed the new doors, and replaced the trim. They did an excellent job. They also coordinated everything with the insurance company. I highly recommend them.

I checked around before calling Restore Pro and heard glowing reviews, but only from those that basically handed over their insurance adjusters estimate to them. If that's you, great. For us, their insistence that they do it all as written by the insurance company just didn't work for us. We asked Restore Pro to leave a couple things off for now. Instead of cleaning carpet in 2 rooms, wait and do the whole house. RestorePro was interested in replacing damaged linoleum, but not with tile. I made it clear that I was more than willing pay whatever insurance didn't cover.

RestorePro did a great job restoring our house after our dishwasher leaked and ruined our hard wood floors. They had to pull out the floor and some cabinets to dry things out, then replace the entire downstairs flooring. The job was done professionally and about as fast as can be expected. They damaged some paint during the drying out phase, and painted the entire room to fix the problem. We asked them to do some extra things like replace the kitchen sink and faucet and they were happy to do so. Communication was not a problem. We always knew what was happening and they responded promptly to our questions. They have a good working relationship with our insurance company, which made things go smoothly. Except for living without a kitchen sink for awhile it was a pretty painless process. I would highly recommend RestorePro.

These are the best people to call when you have an unpleasant situation with your home! Our kitchen floor buckled due to an ice maker leak. Fixing this situation required moving out while the entire first floor hardwoods were refinished. There are not enough complements to be said about our Project Manager, Andrew Draughon and Sue Williams, the Content Manager. Andrew stopped in everyday and was in constant contact with us about the progress. Sue’s crew, all female packers and young, strong ,efficient movers were wonderful to interact with. We had an interior leak that did quite a bit of damage to drywall, some custom moulding, and a tile bathroom floor. We were concerned that after reconstruction things would look different and not match the rest of the house. However, Restore Pro did a fantastic job. First off, I am generally not a person who leaves a review, good or bad, but in the case of RestorePro I felt I had to leave a review because the service and quality of the of the work was incredible. We experienced a sewer line backup that led to most for our downstairs being ripped out. We started working through our insurance company and they initially recommended a couple of other options to work through but after meeting with them something was a bit off. I reached out to a neighbor, who is a builder, and he recommended calling Luke Wind at RestorePro. From initial contact with Luke it was a completely different experience. He came over, walked through our house and was very straightforward on what needed to be done and the time from we could expect it to be done by. In almost every circumstance, when working with a contractor, they never finish up when they say they will. RestorePro finished on time! And the work was phenomenal. We have some very intricate molding that I thought may be a challenge but wasn’t for the RestorePro crew. My family and I were in the house for most for the restoration and we can’t emphasize what a great crew that RestorePro has working for them. Not only was the quality fantastic, as previously mentioned, but we also felt extremely comfortable with every single member of the team and how detail oriented they were. We had a door repair, floor repair and painting done. The overall customer service and management by Michelle was excellent. The appraisal done by Don was very efficient and professional. The work done by Donny and Mark was great. Just had an issue with a vendor, but otherwise the service was high quality and absolutely a 5 star rating. We had a major dishwasher leak and had to replace most of our downstairs flooring. Our insurance company recommended RestorePro. I honestly expected it to be a nightmare. We have 5 little kids, we both work, and have very busy schedules. Everyone we worked with at Restore Pro was amazing. The mitigation staff were considerate of our space and worked very hard to get things done quickly. Michelle, our project manager, was especially great. She gave us daily updates and communication, and we always felt like she put our interests first. She was able to schedule our repairs quickly and did most of the work while we were gone on vacation. The work that was done was high quality and came with a great warranty. When we pointed out minor concerns with the work that was done, they were not defensive at all and they were quick to make sure things were done right. I have never worked with contractors that are this easy to work with and all the work was done more quickly than I would've thought possible. I am very thankful to RestorePro and their staff for the great job they did in restoring my house after the fire. The fire started in the kitchen and was pretty much a gut job. The smoke however filled the house and was almost as damaging as the fire. It gets in everything it touches and does not clean up with hot soapy water. RestorePro has the technology needed to remove smoke damage from almost everything. They restored furniture, art, electronics, fabrics, blinds, floors and wallboard, and i was able to use these things again. They assigned Michelle as my project manager and she was wonderful. She took care of every detail always keeping me informed and insisting on my approval of those things being done. If I had a problem with something I just had to mention it and she took care of it. She made the whole process so easy for me. What was so catastrophic when I opened my front door and was blinded with fire and black smoke she took charge and I was able to look at it with a calm perspective. Someone was here to help. I called RestorePro at the suggestion of my insurance carrier..Almost immediately Mr Don Anderson was at my home which was on a weekend. He did a great job .During reconstruction I dealt with Amanda. Had a leak under the slab in the bathroom of my rental home. The work was quite intensive as the bathtub, flooring, etc had to be removed. Our project manager Derrick was absolutely amazing! He was on the job at least once a day during the construction phase making certain the work was being done properly and to my satisfaction. I recently had a sewer backup in my home which required the removal and reconstruction of a good portion of my downstairs living area including a bathroom and hardwood floors. My homeowners insurance provided me with a list of a half dozen local companies and I interviewed the three with the highest ratings here on google. RestorePro Reconstruction stood out - they were the only one that did not seem preoccupied with increasing the scope and size of the job - and instead only were interested in getting it done right. Everyone I dealt with was professional, competent and responsive. They utilized specialists for all required work: sheetrock, hardwood flooring, sheet rock, cabinetry and trim - and all were talented and did excellent quality work. Special thanks to my project coordinator, Derrick. He was very well organized, highly responsive and a quality person. I highly recommend this company.

Every employee I interacted with at RestorePro was professional and responded quickly. I never had to wait for answers, and they took care of a lot of the insurance paperwork that is normally such a headache. Unfortunately I had a flood in my home, but Restore Pro was there to the rescue!!! I had the pleasure of working with Molli, Michelle Blake and Jaime! They took the stress away from the process making it smooth as possible. There was a great effort to make sure I understood everything and were aware of every step the process. Most importantly they were there to answer any questions I had whether it was during or after the typical business hours. The customer service was PHENOMENAL!!!! I highly recommend!

We had a terrible mold problem come up very suddenly while family had gone on vacation. The blinds and curtains were closed, AC and heat set so neither would come on. That with the addition of a water heater source hose leak was the perfect combination for mold. It grew out of control before we even knew it was there. I started calling companies well after normal business hours. Within 30 min of leaving a message with the answering service I received a call from Clark. He met with us quickly to get an estimate and then worked us into the schedule after Christmas. He and his crew showed up on time, were very professional and went above and beyond to take care of every item in the house. It was very important that nothing be thrown away so stuff they normally suggest disposing was bagged so we could go through it. We were very impressed with every aspect of working with RestorePro and would highly recommend them. If we ever need services they can provide we wouldn’t hesitate hire them again.

After water damage in my rental property I called RestorePro and was assigned my project manager David Johnson. David showed up and immediately but me at ease with his professionalism and understanding of this very stressful situation. David managed the project and throughout the recovery he ensured that all work teams were on time and completed assignments with 100% satisfaction. David was always easy to contact and readily available to work out solutions to work schedules that fit my tenants timelines. May 9, 2018 had a washer to flood the laundry room upstairs and the water ruined my ceiling downstairs. RestorePro was quick to dry out the laundry room. They had contractors repair my ceiling down stairs. That is when the problems began. The contractor took weeks to repair the ceiling. In doing so, they ruined my expensive ceiling fan. The work was not acceptable and had to be redone. They tried to paint the blades of my ceiling fan and pass it as quality. NOPE. Then they purchased blades and drilled holes in them to fit the motor, didn't work. So finally they ordered them. In the meantime, I was unable to use my family room as all of my furniture was in another room. The inspector came by from RestorePro and decided the ceiling work was not acceptable and they redid it a 3rd time. September 6, they finished it. May 9 - September 6???? This was just a ceiling repair. Can you imagine not being able to spend quality time with small kids during the summer months? No board games, no family movie nights, no family meals at a dinner table together. How would you feel for this period of time? I moved all of the furniture myself and told Luke, the owner of RestorePro, "there was nothing else you can do for me, I will repair my house". As a 22 year retired Military disabled Veteran, I have a high expectation for time management and quality of product/service and this experience left me feeling drained, disappointed, frustrated, and at times angry. The laundry room was back in order in less than two weeks, so why was the ceiling such a hassle? I must say that I was not impressed and will not recommend them for any future repair work.

My first google review---usually don't do reviews but Derrick Taylor and his team deserve it. There are so many moving parts to home repairs, especially if involving insurance. RestorePro was timely, kind, professional, and only used top-notch partners; i.e. wood floor installers, cleaners, plumbers, you name it. I would not hesitate to use them again and refer for any issue. Whoever thought something like this would be pleasant?! Don't hesitate or look further.

My hot water heater went out and flooded my whole house. From start to finish RestorePro was there to make sure the restoration process was completely effortless on my part, they kept me updated on every step of the process. RestorePro is a company that I would recommend to anyone in need of restoration services. This company is full of employees that seem to love their job, they were so nice. RestorePro may not be the cheapest option to go with but I promise you they are the BEST option.

Based on a personal recommendation, I had RestorePro come in to do the restoration after a 2nd floor water pipe burst. (the water mitigation company I used, lost their project manager so I needed to look elsewhere). Derrick was the Project Manager and Molli the Client Care Coordinator (business side). Both were great to work with, readily available and responsive to questions or concerns. All the contractors were professional and polite at all times. The work was done on schedule and my house looks great. We had a few minor issues, which I brought up w/ Derrick and he had them taken care of the next day. The main thing I can recommend is to clearly communicate your expectations (be realistic). Derrick & team want the job done to your satisfaction. I have no hesitation recommending RestorePro to others for reconstruction work.

I had what I thought was a minor water leak from an upstairs sink that created a water mark in the ceiling below. I called another company first, and they immediately talked about ripping up my tile floor and that I should call my insurance company. RestorePro was the opposite. They came out, free of charge, three different times to measure the moisture and ultimately determined that I didn’t need a major fix at all. As Steve and Blake both explained, they are in business to make money, but they are also homeowners themselves who don’t like to be taken advantage of. Instead, they recommended that I contact a handyman to just repair the ceiling. Incredible service, honesty and professionalism that you don’t always see.

I worked with Sue, Ashley. Lauren, and their crew after a fire in my apartment building forced me to move. Our business experienced a fire in a multi-tenant building, and though the flames were well-contained, the smoke ruined or damaged everything in our 25,000 square-foot space--carpet, ceiling tiles, inventory, cubicles, electronics. They were wonderful liaisons; communicating regularly with us, our insurance adjustor, and all the various subcontractors (plumber, tile guys, electrician). The team that Derrick assembled was professional at all times, respecting our home and schedules, and their workmanship was second to none. Restore pro was great, as they came in and gutted our moldy, water damaged bathroom. The initial crew put down plastic, covered the carpeting and sealed everything that was water damaged and moldy. Derrick was great at communicating and keeping me updated on the project and what would be happening on what day. He kept track of the subs and made sure the work was done In a timely manner. The painter lines and cutting in could use some work as it looks a bit sloppy. It could use a little more attention to detail. The mirror is a bit crooked, as is the towel bar. The vent does not cover the cut out in the ceiling. The job is complete, but the attention to detail and craftsmanship is lacking. I high Recommend Derrick and his supervision, but the quality of the work needs some refinement.

When my upstairs master bathroom and downstairs living area flooded in April 2019, I interviewed five companies for the water mitigation. When Blake walked in the door, I knew RestorePro was the right company to handle the job. Blake explained the process in a confident and reassuring manner. I knew I was in good hands. The water mitigation team were very polite, clean, and tidy with the cleanup process. They explained every detail to me before they began. I was very pleased. Blake set me up with the repair estimator, Jamie. Jamie advocated on my behalf with my insurance company. He went above-and-beyond my expectations. He would work long hours and weekends to get the job done. He is very knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and goes the extra mile. I can't say enough good things about working with him. He's a good person and had my best interest at heart. It's rare to find people like him these days. Summer, the client care coordinator, was very sympathetic and reassuring. From our very first phone call, I knew she was looking out for me. She checked on me daily and was a wonderful support throughout the process. She was also very polite and calm which was comforting during the storm. Everyone should have a Summer to help them through a disaster. I had hiccups with my insurance company that delayed the process for several months. RestorePro never left my side, had my back, and guided me every step of the way. The team at RestorePro are very polite, communicative, professional, and trustworthy. I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them. Thank you, RestorePro!
